Accompanying note reads; "This scarf was the property of Canon Boydell (1899-1918). Rector of the Epiphany. Presented by his daughter Mrs. Rex Martindale to Canon P.R. Beattie (1940-1942, 1945-1948) when rector of the Church of the Epiphany, Sudbury. Later Bishop of [Kootenay]. Who in 1943 gave it to Rev. S.M. Craymer (later archdeacon of nipissing). Eleanor Craymer".
